Support for the Oncology Unit:

– Arrangement of the Tatap room, including the provision of TV and game materials for children during outpatient consultations.
– Establishment of a small library in the counseling room.
– FHACI responds to the need for the purchase of medicines expressed by the managers of the Oncology Unit.
– Hygiene kits are provided to parents and children in need.
– Financial support is offered as needed for the payment of passports for parents or children and travel tickets if the patient needs radiotherapy abroad.
– Monthly funding allows children to receive appropriate nutrition according to their specific nutritional needs.
– Appropriate equipment such as Infusion Pumps and soon Monitors ensures an improvement in the quality of curative services offered to children.
– Recreational activities are organized with the assistance of volunteer members of FHACI.
– Annually, during the Christmas period, a reception and gift distribution are organized for all hospitalized children, not forgetting the hospital staff.

Fundraising:

To raise funds to achieve our objectives, we periodically approach donors from banks, supermarkets, service providers, and civil society who generally respond to our requests. We also conduct annual activities and appreciate events organized by members for our benefit.

  • “Golden Campaign” around Childhood Cancer Month and Childhood Cancer Day, aiming to educate and raise awareness among the public. The “February in Pink and Gold” campaign around World Childhood Cancer Day, held from mid-February to mid-March.
  • “Solidarity and Sharing Christmas” campaign, including participation in several fairs during December and the annual organization of the December party for the children of St. Damien Hospital.
  • “Spring Brunch” usually held in April.
  • “Family/Barbecue Day” planned for the summer.
